The much-loved hymn “It Is Well With My Soul” was penned by lyricist Horatio Spafford after experiencing tragic circumstances. The title of this hymn arrangement is taken from the phrase “whatever my lot, thou has taught me to say; It is well with my soul” – a relevant message applicable to everybody as encouragement to seek peace amongst life’s varied twists and turns. The Brass Band Series is designed for Brass Bands comprising of more than 20 players. While scored for full Brass Band, the series offers greater flexibility for when a full instrumentation is not available.
