“Mi Vista” – Spanish translation for “my vision” – presents the hymn “Be thou my vision” to the tune of “Slane” is presented here in an energetic Samba drawing from a few popular Latin influences with solo space for Flugel Horn, Trumpet, Alto Sax and a Percussion soli break. The Big Band Series is designed for Big Bands comprising of more than 13 players. While scored for full Big Band, the series offers functionality for when a full instrumentation is not available. Tenor Sax 2, Trumpet 4, Trombone 3 and Guitar are all optional parts and cued or doubled in other parts.
